If there is a beginning there is also an ending

It was five in the morning when I arrived after 6 months. I was feeling that I am at home, I was feeling that all the memories that I have left would come back again.

My youth centre was my motivation; people that were coming to our events were giving me the desire to work and to do more and more. The secret of our (Aradului) work was teamwork. There is no place like home – we had a pillow with this text that was always in the living room and I was always reading that when I was passing by the living room – but trusting my philosophy

HOME IS WHERE YOU FEEL LIKE.

Every morning I was taking my short walk and with every step I was thinking about the past days and the future plans. For me, it was mandatory to say Bună! to the doorman and to have an English/Romanian conversation. If you would ask me how I was explaining the things I also don’t know but the most important part is that we understood each other.

This year will always stay with me. It was something that had both extremely good and extremely bad days, but as I am always saying, we should realize the positive side of the coin. Every day of my life in Timisoara I got something new, something beautiful and meaningful.

I am taking with me for my life this whole year and this amazing experience that gave me things that I will be grateful for in my future.

Facts about my Yerevan Jan

4 ) Did you know that Yerevan is known as the ‘pink city’? This is due to the wonderful natural colour of the historic buildings which were made from naturally coloured volcanic rock!
5) Yerevan is far from a new city – it was actually founded back in 782 BC!

If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start. This could mean losing girlfriend/boyfirend, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days.

It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery–isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you’re going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is.”

Our cozy space

We all need a place where one can be truly feel ourself without bothering to keep up appearances. Our youth center is a peacfull haven to me ,it’s a spot where all of your emotions can come out, where you can sit down in silence and make a decision for life.

This place is giving me motivation and happiness,

One love one Timisoara

Frida said ; Take a lover who looks at you like you are magic .

Arus said ; Get a city where you can get your spring .

Here I am , with my spring and energy , with my love and emotions . Let’s discover the secret of my city together ..

Timisoara is one of the largest cities in Romania and it is by far the largest city in the western part of the country. The area has been settled for a long time with the first record of the city of Timisoara dating back to 1212 and mentioning that it is built on the site of an ancient Roman fortress, Castrum Regium Themes.

During this trip we will discover extraordinary squares like Victoriei Square .

Ormerly Opera Square , is one of the central squares of Timișoara , the place where Timișoara was proclaimed on December 20, 1989 the first free city in Romania . At the opposite poles of the square are the Opera to the north and the Metropolitan Cathedral to the south . From the Opera to the Cathedral the promenade on the right is called “Corso” and the one on the left is called “Surrogate”.

Around the square there are cultural institutions – the Romanian Opera , the National Theater , the Hungarian State Theater , the German State Theater , the Metropolitan Cathedral , the Timiș cinemas, the Capitol and the Studio, the Banat Museum , art galleries and many shops.

Our next station is Liberty Square ..

In 1848 , with the outbreak of the Hungarian revolution , the name of the square changed to Liberty Square. After the Austrian army recaptured the city, the square was renamed Prince Eugene Square . The square is also colloquially referred to as the “Old City Hall Square”. The building was built in Baroque style between 1731 and 1734 .

Located in the center of Liberty Square, this statue is the work of two Viennese sculptors, Blim and Wasserburger. On the three sides of the monument are depicted scenes from the last period of the life of St. John Nepomuk . In its center is St. Nepomuk and in the upper part is St. Mary with a crown of stars around her head and holding lily flowers, the symbol of purity.

Let’s walk more 5 miunte and to read about Unirii Square

Unirii Square is the oldest historical square in Timisoara , decorated in Baroque style.

Throughout its history the square was also called Hauptplatz (Main Square), Domplatz (Dome Square) and Losonczy Square (after the name of Count Stefan Losonczy, killed in 1552 when the fortress was conquered by the Turks). It was given the name Piata Unirii in 1919 , because the Romanian troops that entered Timișoara stopped here.

The site is home to important tourist attractions, such as the Roman Catholic Dome , the Baroque Palace , the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral , the Brück House , the Holy Trinity Monument , the mineral water fountain and other architectural monuments. It has a large surface, the dimensions being 150 x 110 m.

70 days 70 moments

“Be mindful. Be grateful. Be positive. Be true. Be kind.”

Let’s start our journey from the beginning ․

February 28․ Yerevan Night 4:20․ From Armenia to Timisoara Arus Sukiasyan 24 yeard old

Taking my 23 kg suitcase, I continued my way into the airport, the road seemed shorter ․․ a breath and a sip of water. I couldn’t say goodbye to my favorite Yerevan streets , but I left on the condition that I would return ․ Well let’s get to our days. It’s a little bit risky to go back where you were happy, in my opinion, if you have ever been madly happy somewhere on the planet, then you should perpetuate that period even from distances away. Going back to our days, February 29, 2020: I am in my room,in Timisoara ․․ Well, new things , new people, and new moments: so for me they are the key of life for new beginnings and that’s exactly my secret to adapting everything easily and living positively . I was carefree or fearless for a week, after the virus began to grow and grow, and the 14 days of isolation caused confusion inside me, 14 days without walking and 14 days without an air which is given naturally. In those days, we were counting the days until the end of the global epidemic, and we had to stay at home. Our new isolation began, but in this case we were able to go supermarket and  every 15 days I made my way to the famous Lidle ․ ․․

Too often we were telling “ I don’t have time” . But then we had time and we were free to manage it ․․ I tried to use this whole process as effectively as possible. I started to study graphic design, read and discover new worlds that were in the shadows. We had days full of lessons, we had photo shoots and interesting conversations. We had a powerful and emotional photo-shoots with Aigly․․ Well, I took a photo of her, and she took it of me , so we managed to work together ․․ we just felt the moment, we felt the details or we lived them.

While reading all this, maybe everything will seem smooth and beautiful, but not! We had ups and downs, we had days without mood, days where we have been isolated, days where we have lived and days where we have hugged. Oh, talking about hugs , I just would say that if there was a hug contest, I would have already found my winner ․ Serbia is with us, yes – yes, you understood that’s my Milica correctly ․․
By the way, my favorite phrase in Serbian is “ok tebra” ․ I also learned this in the summer ․

Unlike Serbian, I don’t know Arabic, but we have Rachad and Ali with us. I remembered Rachad in quarantine for 14 days, when he was always thinking about going out , he is crazy , our dear crazy ․․

Ali doesn’t give his place to anyone in ․․ The master of the kitchen and the grandfather of our house knows how to cook all the secrets of delicious food and share the food.

I share my culture and language with Alisa who is the only one from Armenia with me , she is the youngest in our house ․․ who understands a lot even she is young and I don’t know why but she loves monkeys.

Of course, I didn’t forget about Marietta, she is from Greece. Marietta doesn’t like color yellow, but she loves cheese ․

Katya is also a fan of my favorite color. We have to work in the same Youth Center and unlike the rest of the team we have the opportunity to work together online. She is a kind of person, an extraordinary person .

Starting to summarize my 70 days and 70 moments, I want to say that you will come out of any difficulty and winner of the desired situation, if you notice the positive and live with the positive. I had a beautiful and meaningful birthday, I celebrated 24 here in my favorite city, but not in her arms, but closed ․ Well, we decided to celebrate the birthday of all of us together, after the virus, outside.

After 2 and half months, I finally found myself in the center of the city, and after taking a few steps, I began to remember the beautiful and bright days of summer ․․ summer energy and the days I lived here

If you will get an opportunity to be in this city, just be sure this will give you huge love and happiness.
