Some experiences are difficult to explain while you’re living them.

If you asked me at the beginning what volunteering here looks like, I would probably say: activities, kids, energy, something fun and meaningful.

And I wouldn’t be wrong. But that’s only part of the picture.

There was a moment during one of the activities when everything just felt… easy.

By the fourth week, the Youth on a Mission project started to feel more real and grounded

adjusting expectations in the first weeks,
the team finally moved into action.”

After the first full week, that perception began to change. Not because the project became difficult, but because it turned out to be more complex than expected.
